What Pobbly is
- An app for parents to save the things their children say. You retell what happened in your own words, or type the quote. Pobbly finds the child's words, adds the date and the child's exact age, and lets you edit the text.
- Each saved quote is called a pobble. It becomes a story-sized card that can be shared via Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS, email, Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories or the phone's share sheet.
- Family and friends are invited into the family and follow along in their own app. They can comment and add quotes themselves.
- Pobble of the Day widget for the home screen and lock screen. A yearbook per child. Export of all quotes and photos as a zip file.

Privacy
- Private by default. Only people the parent invites can see the family's quotes. A single quote can be made fully private, or actively shared publicly.
- Everyone signs in, including grandparents. There is no anonymous access.
- No ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. Data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Quotes are not used to train AI models.
- Pobbly never records video. It is the parent's retelling, not the child, that is turned into text, and parents can type instead.
Who makes Pobbly
Pobbly is made in Copenhagen, Denmark, by Andreas Skadhede Hansen, a journalist (formerly TV-Avisen, TV 2 News and Teknologiens Mediehus) and dad. He built it because he kept forgetting the best things his son said, and never got them sent to the grandparents.
